Author Bio
Faye Bysephipps lives on The Isle of Man with her fiancé and her crazy dog! She has found that Island life has given her more time to pursue her dreams of being a writer. She has also been inspired a lot from the legendary tales told of the “Little People” on the island.
Faye grew up with 6 siblings. That and the fact that she is now a neonatal nurse means that she has gained a very natural understanding of child development. Having then gone on to study the development of newborn children to a degree level has helped Faye to understand the importance of reading to newborns.
From daily observations she discovered that that when parents read to their babies on the unit, it really helps to reduce stress and also has a calming effect as children get to listen and become accustomed to the voices of their parents.
Faye hopes that children will discover the joy of reading for themselves with her stories of magical worlds.
